I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the person behind The Mind Body Connection. I came to social work with a strong interest in understanding the experiences that shape us—how our relationships, environments, and past experiences influence the way we see ourselves and move through the world.
Over the course of my clinical work, I’ve become especially interested in the space between knowing something intellectually and actually experiencing change. I’ve seen how easy it can be to understand where a pattern comes from while still feeling unable to respond differently in the moments when it matters most. This has shaped the way I approach therapy and my belief that meaningful change often requires more than simply talking about what is happening.
I value creating a therapeutic relationship that feels genuine, collaborative, and grounded. I don't believe therapy should be about telling you who you should be or giving you a formula for how to live your life. Instead, I see my role as helping you become more curious about yourself, understand the patterns that have developed over time, and create the space to make choices that feel more aligned with who you are and what you want.
I also believe that therapy doesn't have to feel like another place where you have to perform, have the right answers, or hold everything together. You can show up exactly as you are. My hope is that our work together provides a space where you feel understood while also being thoughtfully challenged when it may help you grow.
